  • The Longest November Ever

    Grey.  Grey Grey.

That’s how it’s been down on the Lakeshore lately.

The cold rains and heavy clouds of November didn’t start until the middle of that month.

But it is almost the end of January and the Grey is still upon us.

I feel like we’re living in a late Soviet era science fiction film.  Darn you, Tarkovsky!

If I didn’t have the dogs with me, I might even think I was completely alone, like this is yet another remake of “I Am Legend”.

But I’m tired of thinking about vampires and zombies.  Vampire-Zombies might be fun though.

Since (as usual) I am into science fiction explanations, I have decided that the Earth’s orbit has shifted a bit and as a result we are experiencing a November that will last at six months.

We need the grey.  I love the grey.  It works well with the contrasts of the dark and light.  But this is way too much grey.  I want some snow.  I want some spring.  Or at least a very big crane to lift these clouds off my neighbourhood.
